Hugs from behind

I loved to draw mangas when I was younger. Today I drew a little like back then. Thinking of these heart-warming little words.



Three letters and one package got sent out in the end of April. Hopefully all of them will bring a little smile to the receivers. ♥



Wish you all a lovely start into May! The Germans will appreciate the public holiday tomorrow. :)

Little words and little stamps

Do you know the website Just little things? I love browsing through the collection of little things and life's simple pleasures we should appreciate more.

This week I especially appreciated this one:



Without asking, without wondering, just accepting. :)

I carved some kitchenware stamps for a swap, which I've already shown you before. I made every tool a separate stamp and arranged them on an acrylic block.



It wasn't that easy to find the perfect arrangement. :) I tried out a lot...



So this was my favourite choice. Perfect for recipe cards! ♥



The stamps were inspired by Rikes beautiful recipe stamp. Check out her blog! She's amazing in designing stamps! She's in fact the person who inspired me starting with stamp carving. :)

The little things -Strasbourg

Today I would like to show you some inspiring spots I found during a weekend trip to Strasbourg, when we visited a good friend of mine. While we were walking along the streets, I stopped every time I saw something beautiful and took a picture of it. :) I would love to share those pictures with you.

Isn't this house just too cute with its adorable decoration? I'm buy the way a lover of houses, for example half-timber houses. :)

I like the different roofs of the houses, the slightly different colors and the different shapes. :)

Look at this cute house! I love how small it is compared to its neighbours. Like a little child next to its parents. :D

The little things

Enjoy the little things in life...
...for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things!

I think there is a lot of truth in it. I love the little things. Little things make me happy. :) A plant growing a new flower, a message from a friend, chocolate in the right moment, a cup of tea in the evening, the first snow, when the sun bursts out of a gray cloud ceiling.... I don't need my boyfriend to make a big gesture to show me he cares about me. The little things, not planned or prepared, are those, which really make me feel loved.

Like this cute plant, growing and sitting on the windowsill, looking at the world. Isn't it cute? :) :) I took the photo while I was visiting a good friend in Strasbourg. :)

There is always beauty around you, you just have to start looking. :) Every time I discover something I think is beautiful and might be invisible to other eyes, I'll show it to you. :)
